About the Green Lake Yacht Club

Since our founding in 1894, the mission of the Green Lake Yacht Club has been:

• To honor and preserve the historic value of the yacht club tradition through a youth sailing program designed to ignite a lifelong passion for sailing and desire to race competitively.
• To provide an active, competitive fleet sailing program and to provide leadership and volunteer efforts to bring annual national and regional regattas to Green Lake.
• To continue to encourage new members to join who will enjoy club camaraderie, and fun, family-oriented social events.

Whether you are or aspire to be a world-class competitive sailor, are an enthusiast who wants to compete occasionally, want to introduce your children to the sport of sailing, or want to meet and enjoy the fellowship of your neighbors, GLYC is for you.
