Snipe and I20 fleets race on Sunday mornings at 9:30am. Check back soon for a list of specific race dates and trophy series.
Between two and four races will be attempted depending on conditions. Though recent seasons have featured primarily Snipes, all fleets are welcome. Please contact Michael at commodore@greenlakeyachtclub.org to request a start.
Members are encouraged to enjoy racing from the Heidel House where unique brunch and refreshment options will be available to GLYC members.
Open to sailboats of all types - scows, catamarans, single-handers, wind surfers, and champagne cruisers are all welcome. A course will be set mid-lake, generally between Norton’s and Sandstone. Times will be recorded and handicap scoring will be applied.
Racing planned for July 1, July 15, July 29, and August 12, at 4pm.

Wednesday mornings at 10:30am, staring June 21st. Arrive early to rig and stay late for lunch and dessert.
Casual racing based on the grounds of the Green Lake Sailing School. Please arrive between 4:30 and 5:00pm to rig; racing to begin at approximately 5:30. Lasers, Barnetts, Butterflies, and all other dinghies are welcome. Boat storage and rental options are available from the GLSS. A $20 fee is required to rent a boat for racing. Beginners are welcome and rigging and racing assistance is available.

This year, Junior Racing returns as a cooperative offering between the Yacht Club and Sailing School. Racing is open to all junior sailors (8-18) who are comfortable sailing an Optimist or Laser dinghy single-handed and unassisted around a race course.
